Cy - Reveal - TAST & BJP

TAST catch-up & BJP

Here I am with another round-up of my stitching adventures over the last couple of weeks.
My online time had been drastically reduced to almost zilch, but all is well again now and I should be back into the swing of things again soon.

TAST

I got a bit behind with my TAST stitching but I think I am all caught up again now with these following pics.

Whipped Spider Wheel
with Whipped Spiral & Whipped Fan Variations

Barred Chain Stitch

Satin Stitch

This fluffy stuff is actually fan shaped spider wheels, lol.

Spiral Whipped Wheel & Satin Stitch

Barred Chain Stitch
I totally lost the plot with this stitch and ended up just 'doing-my-own-thing' with it.
I might attempt this stitch at another time when I have the instructions actually in font of me.

Wow, what a lot of whipped and beautiful things. That's quite a garden you have going on! Love the beaded part. What's that done on? Is it stitched or glued?

You definitely know how to whip a wheel! Fabulous!

Nice catch up Cy! Your whipped wheels are especially wonderful. Love how the cushion for your mum is turning out.

Cy, you are definitely our Queen of the Whipped Wheels. Cushion is magnificent very touchy feely

The seed beads on the BJP piece are just embedded and baked into the polyclay. I had to do something that was quick and easy so that I wouldn't get too far behind on the monthly project, lol. I'm working on the March piece at the moment, and that is another fairly quick project, although not as quick as the above piece, (am I babbling?)

I love all the texture on your Mom's cushion. It would be wonderful to feel it. Wonderful whipped wheels! and cute satin stitches.

I fancy a whipped cream iced coffee now (laced with whiskey of course)

Yes, that eyelash yarn goes a long way when whipped into shape, lol. Or did you mean the variegated yarn in the first photo?

Thanks Connie. Glad I've caught up with TAST, but still have CQJP to catch up on yet. I'm just gathering the fabrics now for my March block. It WILL get done in between the farm accounts that I have to finish before the end of April. I do hate how work stifles my creativity.

Thanks Angela. I think you can tell that I enjoyed doing those whipped wheel thingy's, lol.

"Touch feely" is just what I was aiming for on the cushion, thank you Carol.

Thanks Suz. Satin stitch is a favourite of mine for flora and fauna. It will probably be used somewhere in all my CQ blocks.
