Moira: Making headway

Slowly making headway on the to-do list that I worked on over the last week

Quilting has gotten underway on my Riley Blake challenge quilt.

A close up of the quilting on this first part.

And a pic of the entire quilt as it is at the moment -

Two more snail blocks were made.  These are 18" wide by 12" tall and 18" tall by 27" wide.  The shells are made from 6" finished orphan swap blocks given to me by a friend.
And I have put together the next section of the quilt (Still to be joined together).  The first pic here will be on the left-hand side of the section shown below.  Once they are attached I'll measure to see how  much more in width I need to match the top section of the quilt.

Filler blocks in both sections were for the most part more orphan swap blocks that were given to me, all from an online quilt group that I've been part of since 1997.

Can you show a picture of the whole front of the Riley Blake quilt? The quilting looks wonderful and full of movement. Love the snails too, they are all so colorful.
