Angela ~ Repairing a Grocery Tote Bag

Last time I used this grocery tote bag the groceries were so heavy that the handle almost tore off.

So I used some grosgrain ribbon I already had to repair it.  I didn't have quite enough to go all the way around, so I had to add some orange to the brown ribbon to finish it.

I also ran it across the bottom which the original handle pieces did not do.  I just whip stitched it as that was fastest without dragging out the sewing machine.

Now I have a much stronger bag to use!
