Susan: CQJP2016 and Stocking

Here's the final shot of the stocking, with the squares around it. Now it's time to work on the plum pudding. I wanted to substitute something because we don't do plum pudding, but I couldn't think of anything - brain shorted out trying. So plum pudding it is.

I also worked on that seam 63 and finished it, plus started seam 64 on the same yellow piece.

Happy Independence Day to everyone!

Susan: Holly Cottage Christmas

SAL site for Holly Cottage Christmas. The design is a booklet from Michelle Ridgeway

My stocking block is finished! I still have to put the squares around it, but the stocking itself is finished.

Cyra ~ Some Fun Projects

I've managed to get quite a bit of stitching done on some fun projects over the week, so here are my current project photos.

Completed Band 1 of the Embroidery Sampler.
The blue and purple are the additions this week.

And a childs cheerful crochet Beanie Beret of my own design.

Also, a little update on the Party At My Place Quilt. Two more 'building blocks' added.

And some progress on a baby blanket that somebody else made, but I am repairing and joining the remaining circles.

So that was my stitchery week.
I have a lovely variety of projects still on the go.
I have a quilt wall hanging to finish off over the next few weeks, and the white circles baby blanket must get finished soon too, as the new baby it is for is due in October.

Hope you all have a great week ahead.
Happy Stitching

Susan: Tiny Bit

I'm sorry, I simply can NOT keep track of days most of the time any more! But I do have a little to report. I'm sort of leaving May as it is until I put them together.

First seam on June, not finished:

Some progress on Hexathon, block 4:

And I did finish the second Emperor's Wives block:

Susan: No CQ, but Finished 3rd Hexathon block

I was completely out of it last week, don't think I even came to comment, though I read posts. I did a lot of quilting, but not much hand work last week. I did finish this Hexathon block:

I also finished the embroidery for the center of this block, Fall Love QAL Block 1:

That pretty much sums up my handwork for the week. I hope you had a more productive week!

Susan: Hexathon Block One

This is almost the only handwork I've done this week. From Barbara Brackman's Hexathon, Westminster, block one. Very different from hexagons!

The other bit was on the June postcard that will be in the center of my June CQJP.
