I really like the colour scheme on this block. Love the spider on the silken thread. The 'highlights' on the branch is a great idea and makes it 'step-forward' towards the viewer. Overall, a very pretty block, and unique too.
You must have been in our backyard for inspiration! We have spiderwebs everywhere which is a sure sign of fall. Oh, and thank you muchly for the whole block; you know I how love the big picture!
I don't want to be the fly in the ointment, or against the crowd...and you all know I'm a total newbie...
With that being said, while I love the idea of a silver thread, how do you explain only one? Maybe weave it into the other threads, like trace the same pattern to include it with the other thread?
I tend to think of things in a story, so that's what I'm trying to do...but consider the source, and know I'm just nuts! ☺

Lovely!
I like the idea of adding the highlights for sunlight. Depending on direction tho you might want to add it to both branches.
Wow, that spider is is pretty real looking! I like the shiny thread idea too.
It's a good thing that spider isn't going to land on the lady below..... ;-)
Nice work.

Nice thread choice for the shiny spider web. Like Judy, we are in spider season right now so your spider has plenty of twins in my garden.
I don't know about the web but I totally love your spider!!!
All block is actually looking incredible beautiful.
