So I made blocks for August and September while I was missing, without action.
Then today, finally, I had a little stitching time! Here are the first three seams on the August block.
Someone mentioned in a comment a while back that they thought I hadn't repeated any seams. I'm trying not to, but I make no promises! All these seams came from flipping through Carole Samples' book, Treasury of Crazy Quilt Stitches.

Do you find yourself thinking about using any of the stitches we learned last year in TAST?
These stitches continue the fireworks theme nicely .
Nice blocks! I agree with Debra on the fireworks theme. How do you find so many stitches that look like fireworks!
Great stitches! I especially like the gold on the red. Your Aug. and Sept. blocks are lookin' good!
This is going to be such a fun quilt, Susan. Each block is just great!
LOL, I just keep looking until I'm happy. I stopped at three yesterday, because I couldn't find a fourth that made my heart sing, but I will.
Not really. =) Not for this project.
Sparklers exploding, lol. That's what your first stitched seam reminds me of.
Such a fun project Susan.
Great job continuing your themes. The sparklers and fireworks continue in force.
