Oh dear, I hope not! Sarah had fireworks in January, which were straight stitches. I despair, it's not so very long ago when everyone thought my "blossoms" were "kite tails", Debra what shall I do? Please save me, those poor little STARS!
I saw STARS here. And (OMG) I'm in love with those colours. Love those sheaf stitch stars too. I'm getting so much inspiration for my 'main-next-year-project', I just have to use those colours. Oh the planning is so much fun....this time next year I'll be burnt out.

Angela said "just a little bit" and I am sure she meant a very little bit; as in vaguely, almost not at all!
They're very pretty, nonetheless!
Vegas baby! Love your use the the pistil stitch.
I'm very touchy as I thought fireworks too!
Perfect background colour for the heat of Las Vegas. And I love your pistil stars! Sarah, does what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas? ( haha, sorry)
She's probably meeting that hunk she met in New Zealand for a wedding at the Elvis chapel. LOL!
Great looking section. Love the ribbon especially, that's a great combination of ribbon, stitch and embellishment.
Me too; that's the first thing that jumped out at me.It's all really pretty.
Great Grandmother would not approve.

That would be cute--a little bit of white tulle off the block's edge with some sparkles & a couple of little gold rings.
When they get to Paris, you can do the whole honeymoon/tourist thang with the Eiffle Tower!
I could plan forever. It's the stitching . . .
Great colors in your sparkly stars.
I won't think fireworks if you don't want me to. ;) whatever they are, they're lovely. I adore the color combo!
