Nice Shisha. I still need to work on that one. I like your little winged bullion insects! I am realizing there are lots of possibilities for this stitch.
I like the bright and cheerful colors for this seam. The shisha button is really interesting--it does look like the center of a flower. That might account for the dragonflies!

Actually I think the bullion knots look like dragonflies the way you have put them together with other stitches.
that works! I did get a "bug" feeling when working on them-the bullion knot would make a good body part.
I agree with Lady H. Cool dragonflies......much nicer than what my DH calls them:-- worms!
Your faux shisha looks good! A button is a great idea.
Yep, dragonflies for me, please no more worms! Really like the idea of shisha buttons and may well try one or two on a button cluster. Thanks.

The bullion knot whatever's are so darn cute. That is a great seam treatment combination too. Great variety.
Congrats on your shisha. Nicely done.
Very nice shisha! Your bullions remind me of the center of a lily, but dragon flies work, too. Whatever, it's a pretty seam.
I plan to develop this into a button cluster.
Had lunch with Angela today and we nabbed some shisha mirrors at JoAnn Fabrics so I am set!
Funny how one comment can influence everyone! My dragonflies and Connie's hotdogs . . .
Thanks, y'all. The shisha is going to undergo more transformation but I like to get all the embroidery done before I do embellishments.
You'll enjoy the shisha and it would be pretty with your neutrals.
Love your bullion knots. I was thinking more along the lines of bees, or wasps, though.

I didn't see it that way at all but I could certainly develop it to look more flowerlike. See, it's so good to get this weekly feedback!
