Judy~ Bullion Knot, TAST
Poor ol' Sue is still collapsed against that stump. She must need some vitamins, since the few flowers I managed to stitch this week didn't cut it apparently. I finished the flowers on her hat and dress and used the bullion knot, lots of them, to make the daisy petals. A milliner's needle really helps! If you like this stitch, the A-Z of Bullions is a great little resource for creative ways to use this stitch.
This weekend is a crazy choir one for us with a morning rehearsal today and 2 services tomorrow as well as a memorial service in the afternoon, so I won't get to reading your posts or commenting till Monday. Have a wonderful weekend! Gotta go review my Latin.

This is as beautiful as any Holly Hobby print can be. Love your work.
Sleeping beauty waiting for her prince? Very pretty bullions.
Perfect little flowers for Sue to pick while relaxing. The bullion stitch fit in at such a nice time for this.
Oh wow, I just 'zoomed in' on your yellow daisy's and saw how many bullions are in the petals. Looks like you had fun with this stitch ;)
Very nice bullions on your daisies! Is Sue plucking the petals, wishing, " he loves me, he loves me not" while she waits for her prince to arrive?
So very pretty!
This is already your best block of the bunch.
I love your sunflowers! The block is absolutely fabulous. All the blocks are, but the sunflowers and sandals are just so cute on this one. Good luck tomorrow!
Thanks! But orange is so not my color......
Works great for Sue, though!
The bright yellow in the bullion knots really pops, and they make great petals!
The bullion stitch daisy petals are wonderful! and your half-chevron trim on Sue's dress is really well executed. Beautiful!
