Such a pretty block. I read your blog post and agree that sometimes you just have to stop and then move on. It's hard for CQers to do that---well, for me, sometimes.
I don't always feel that way, but now and then, and this block was definitely one. I see at least two more places I want beads, and maybe 3. Possibly I'll put them in later, but we'll see!

So pretty! Wonderful use of beads, and I love the little spider! Congrats on getting it done in the nick of time!

Thanks! I usually make beaded spiders, but I found this one in the charms, and I liked him. Who knows when I bought them!
Beautiful block Susan
Congrats for beating the deadline!
Lovely, light and airy, this block has wonderful pastels.
Thank you all. I never know when I've strayed too far over the line from pastel, so I appreciate the feedback on that. =)
A confection of beautiful details!
Very beautiful and intricate work: there are so many details to linger over.
Can't wait to see what fairy comes next! This is going to be a wonderful wall hanging.
Really pretty block, love the use of pastel colours taken from your silky.
