Here's my journal page for the Herringbone stitch. I liked this stitch once I got my spacing figured. Very like cross stitch.
As you can see January 31, 1930 is when Scotch tape was invented by the 3M engineer Richard Drew. Where would we be without Scotch tape? I don't think I could count all the rolls I've probably used in my lifetime. And who doesn't love a little plaid?

This collection of stitches is so creative and will certainly be a one-of-a-kind. The way you created the plaid is very clever! Did you use two strands of floss in two different colors in areas? Or did you go over areas twice?

This is really a Wow! piece. A little Andy Warhol in taking inspiration from every day items. Scotch tape holds our society together!
I adore these stitches as fill stitches - funny when you do crazy quilting (or at least I do) you tend to just see them as a straight line!
