This is so pretty, Suz. I'm off to your blog to read more. :)
I like your buttonhole flower. That's a great use for this stitch.
You have done some really fun things with your block. Great colors too!
Very pretty in pink & green. That circle is special, I can see that morphing into all kinds of flowers for embellishing.
On the CQJP, what did you use for the twisted center between teh snowflakes and the apple fabric?
I want to know what that twisted piece is too--
Nice experiments--the pink and green look so fresh together!
Love your double-wheel buttonhole stitch. The other buttonhole experiments are great too Suz.
The CQ is coming on a treat now, looking good. I would never have thought of putting pink with the Christmas fabrics, but just looking at what you have achieved here with it I think it's time I stopped being so conservative in my colour choices. (And just in case you are wondering what I am talking about - it means I really like what you have done) ;)
A lot of examples there. You manage to get much closer together than I do. I'm far more comfortable with spacing, and can't seem to get very even on close. I love the lime and raspberry colors - I've been playing with a quilt idea with those!
Hi everyone, and thanks for the wonderful support!
The twisted piece is one of the fibers I received and is a 7mm variegated chenille-type ribbon. Isn't it pretty? I love it, and wish there was more than 1 meter in the package.
