Judy's Button Hole Stitch for SBS

First I doodled.

Then I stitched. And found a place for Deborah's flower.

But the most fun of all was meeting Tahlia and seeing her lovely small peacock firsthand! It turns out we are "almost neighbors"! Who would have guessed? I got to spend a lovely afternoon stitching with her and a couple other CQers who meet weekly at a local mall to stitch the afternoon away. Isn't blogging great?

There is so much truth in that saying, isn't there? It is fun to watch the details in the sunbonnet girl come out.

How lovely that you and Tahlia had opportunity go get together and stitch together!

It truly is a small world! It is always fun to meet a fellow blogger that you have things in common with. Great saying, fun use of the flower and really nice stitching.

Nice stitching, Judy. I like seeing how SBS is taking shape with the different stitches. What fun you and Tahlia live close to each other. It would be so nice to have stitchin' pals, I think.

Your sunbonnet girl is getting prettier and prettier. What fun to be able to have a Tuesday stitchers meet up in real life.

What a creative use of stitching on the birdbath. Let's see, do I like the birdbath or the bonnet best? Nope, can't make up my mind.

You are going to give me SBS Fever and I am not even like that!!

I had lunch with Angela (ladyhawthorne) today so I understand how much fun you must have had with Tahlia.

Birdbath is rather quaint, and a good use of the buttonhole stitch, well done.

Looks like you had some fun with your stitching Judy, and then some more fun with Tahlia. It's definitely a small world. Now, if any of you are in NZ...........

I'm officially jealous! Love the additions to Sue and the sampler, too. This will be a very unique Sue quilt!

I have met, both in person (2) and online (lots), so many great people. If the Internet has any redemming qualities, that's one of them. I love the way this is coming along.
