And I finished up was the big commission that I'd been working on the first three months of the year. The last bit were these 5 small totes, and these 7 denim heart ornaments.By the time these were done, only a few tiny bits of the denim remained and they went into the trash.
These three totes were pieced from smaller sections of the overalls and denim shirts. All have pockets added to the front of them.
These were made from the seat section of the final pair of overalls. Because of where the brads fell on the top of the backs I ended up facing the top of the denim with extra wide, single-fold bias tape.Backing of these two totes.

Fabulous totes! That was quite the commission, bet you are glad to have it completed.
I'm so glad to have it done! However I still have more to do for the same customer....along with other stuff that is coming in. One thing that is really nice is that this gal is talking up my services to those that she knows so hopefully more work will come in at some point.
in the meantime, I'm hoping for some time to maybe get some things done for myself....lol.
