Moira - a few finishes

My butterfly hankie quilt was finished this weekend.   Binding is the same green fabric that was used for the block backgrounds.
The label that was embroidered for the hankie quilt by a quilting acquantaince.
6 total memory pillows were finished - Two memory pillows from bandannas.
The patriotic pillow back includes the pocket that was on the t-shirt used for back it.
Two more memory pillows from a Harley Davidson t-shirt.
16" memory pillows made from a Bugs Bunny bandanna and a Texas t-shirt.

Also worked on over the weekend was prepping the last pair of denim overalls for more memory stocking fronts.   Am currently in process of cutting and/or piecing the fronts.  Once done with that I'll start sewing those together.

And I finished a quilt top that will be seen later in the month in a strings blog hop.

Lovely hankie quilt with butterflies. I've looked at lots of designs and ideas as I will have a lot of hankies from Mom one day. The edges were tatted by my gt-grandmother.
All those memory pillows are wonderful, I know they are appreciated. Maybe they will put something special in the pocket.

Hmmm, thinking of the pocket, it would make a great tooth fairy type pillow 'cause the friend I'm making these for has small grandkids.....

What a wonderful history in the hankies you'll be getting at some point!
