The Patched Drapes for my Studio are Finished! Big project. Love the Shabby Chic look. They are exactly what I wanted. It's so liberating to make this space suit me.
I thought these would eat up more fabric than they did. What do I know?

I like the texture, and the spots of blue for a little color.
I wonder if you could do something like that with some of these linens I have. Or would they be too heavy? Did you do those on your longarm? It seems it would be hard to do it on a regular sewing machine.
Yes, I stitched it on the longarm. I designed as I went down the length. It has a base fabric, layer of large blocks and then the final layer of smaller overlapping blocks.

Yep, I like.
Love the little splashes of colour, not too much and not too little, just right.
Your Shabby chic is sheer shlurpy beauty.
My house has some built-in shabby chic so these are right at home!
It looks so warm, and I love how the light hits and plays across the different pieces of fabric.
Lovely!
These are so charming, and so "you." Lovely.
Beautiful work, Debra!
