Good day all!
Happy camper here, as I have some progress to show. WOO-HOO!
Block #3 is coming along.
And a couple of closer shots:
My favorite:
Next, I think I'll add some ric-rack on the lower left corner seam. I'm worried about the ends of the trim, do you have suggestions for me?
Make it a great day!

Love the daisy garden!
For ric-rack I have folded under the ends or you could add something to cover it like a button or embellishment.
GREAT! Thank you!
Love this! I really like your daisy trail, and the fact that it meanders across the written fabric.
You might cover the ends of rick-rack with fancy stitches (like bullions or a spider's web circle), tuck them into a seam, fold them under, hide them under some lace or another trim, bead it, or silk ribbon it.
Just gotta "do it", right? ☺
Love the daisy trail. I'll ahve to remember the look so that I can use it on one piece of CQ that I have in progress. It will fit perfectly. Thanks for showing what you did.
The idea that I used had the stitches with a french knot at the top. I couldn't resist, but to take it one step further.
That is a lovely block. Such beautifully neat stitching. Great job Fitzy.
