Sorry I'm late in posting, had to put in another job application today, this time at the county tax office. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I got quite a bit done so far on the dickey, this side is nearly done. I'm using a moss stitch for the body area but because each row is decreased I have had a hard time getting the stitches right and had to rip out several rows several times. One side looks wonky in the photo but blocking will fix that.

I clicked to get the closest view I could, and that's a very pretty stitch. Kudos to you for sticking to it and doing whatever it takes. It's one reason I don't knit - I know I would never rip out wrong rows - I'd just keep looking for a way around the mistake. LOL
That moss stitch (new to me) looks very nice. Isn't tinking (un-knitting, or knitting backwards) a real pain? The dickey looks great!
Really nice and with the current cold weather I am sure it will be used too!
Looking good to me Angela. It will make a really good present. I like the moss stitch. I haven't tried it, but it looks nicely textured.
Nice work, Angela! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I enjoyed reading about your process for making dressing/stuffing.
Great job with your knitting project! Blocking will even things out nicely.
I actually just ripped the rows out slowly and picked up the stitches to start that section again. But I hate doing it.
The moss stitch is in a little Leisure Arts booklet called Beginner's Guide, Knit Stitches & Easy Projects. The patterns for stitches are well written and easy to figure out.
