Hi everyone. I'm still unpacking and trying to get our new home organized, and yesterday was the first time I picked up a needle and thread since our move. It felt sooo good!
I finished the cast-on flower seam
then I added some flowers and leaves to the lace trim
and knotted my way along this seam with 4 colours of thread
July is almost finished, but there's more stitching to be added to this block. I shall have to play catch-up.
By late this week, I hope to have finished July, and moved onto the August block ( if I can find it! :-0 ) as well as get back to my wrapping cloth.
I hope you've all had a good week!
Hugs from Suz

I just love those cast on flowers, they look like tatting, so delicate. Ha, that's a good word for this whole block, delicate, and just beautiful.
Have to agree with Angela, I just love your cast-on flowers and your French knots look really yummy.
Look at those cast-ons!!
Very pretty details, cast-on flowers are always one of my favorites.
Thanks ladies! It felt so good to be stitching again--I really missed it.
Good to have you back, Suz! Looks like you've really mastered that cast on stitch. Is the bottom row attached? They appear to dangle which looks very cool. Don't know why I've been complaining about french knots! Appears as if you've done quite a few also. I like the 4 color effect.
Hi Judy. Both rows are attached at the beginning and end only, so they lift somewhat, and dance a little. ;-)
so, just at each side of the stem.......
Oh it's good to see you getting some stitching therapy Suz. Well deserved and beautifully executed. Love the 4 colour French knots. Beautiful colours throughout.
so very happy you are finding time to stitch!!!

Your cast on flowers are wonderful. So evenly stitched...clever girl.
The whole block is beautiful.
Thanks Ladies! I really missed not stitching.
How did I miss this post? Lovely stitching and yes how delightful to be able to pick up your needle and thread and leave unpacking and settling in to another day. I adore your garden of french knots. Blissful Dear...
Sherry, I only posted it through the Tuesday Stitchers blog, and forgot to post on my Suztats blog. Scatterbrained these days, I think. I do love those french knots, though......Thanks
Hugs
Amazing work, Suz. Especially after moving house and all!! The cast on flower seam is exquisite. Sooo much work in it but so worth it. Also all those knots are lookin' good in the pretty colours.
