Lots of progress this week on the June Block. More than half-way finished with embellishing. Seams 1-3 inspired by
CQ Mag Online. Seam 4 is taken directly from a block by
Ati's butterfly block from about May of 2008. At least, that's when I saved the picture to remind me of her butterfly.

I think those all look, more or less, like fireworks or something patriotic.

More nice stitching! I am imagining them with beads and sparkles!
Gorgeous stitching. Love all these seams. Fireworks it is. This is going to be a favourite block I'm sure.
At the end, I will probably add more beads to all the blocks, but I'm going the cautious route right now, because it would be so easy to overdo it.
It is a favorite for me already. I like the way these first seams work together and want to be sure anything else goes with them!
ha! ha! Never!
Yup, lots of fireworks! Seam 3 looks like sparklers to me.
Great looking stitches. It's amazing how so many of them fit your theme.
Very nice, Susan. It looks like you're really enjoying this project. Sometime could you show all the blocks so far? Pretty please?
When June's is finished, I'll try to remember to do that again. =)
Thanks for all your kind comments. Now I have to find just a few more designs that explode!
