Fitzy - Certified CRAZY!

Just to let you know...I will try most anything. Discovery is worth the risk. Perfection is over-rated. (Do you REALLY think I believe that last statement?!!!)
I'm trying to figure out how to add an inner row of petals, but it just dawned on me that an additional OUTER row would be easier! No?

Then to add either french knots or beads for the center.

Hope you're having a creative week!

Angela~ Picot Banner

I hope everyone exercised their right to vote this past week!
I actually had some of these picots above VOTE and pointing up, but I didn't like it.  Finally it hit me to make a banner!
The picots are with 6 strands of floss, everything else is 2 strands.  Prismacolor to the rescue again.

Judy~Open Base Needlewoven Picot~TAST

Surely you must be tired of looking at grass, but this stitch just lends itself to that.  I did add a few flower buds for a little change. (Sorry for the fuzzy photo!)  Sue wrecked her posture last month in a wheelbarrow, and I'm afraid to say that her back is getting a workout once again.  Poor child.  This month she has plunked herself down next to a boulder.  What's she doing?  Stay tuned!

Debra: TAST: Open Base Needlewoven Picot

Not sure I would like this stitch.  Now I do!  I can see it could be very useful for textured surfaces in the future.
