Did get my block for the modern quilt block contest made yesterday. Will submit it no later than the 10th for the contest. Voting starts on it on the 11th at the following link.....

This months block was to be our adaptation of the snail's trail block. Mine has 44 pieces of fabric in it and was pp'd. Still debating on a name for it.
I've also got one commissioned project to get done along with everything else before moving. Had agreed to do it before the job offer came through. Had a customer ask me to make a new cover for this antique, family heirloom doll carraige. Thankfully it is easy sewing, just need to take the old one off and then take it apart so I can use it for a pattern.

Sounds like you have a pretty full plate! Good luck with the move. And all the projects, too!
Love the new quilt block, it looks like a vortex or whirlpool! Pretty colors too.
All you need is time, ha, ha, ha! Love the block - Thorny Trails? I'm praying the time stretches to fit all you need to do.
Sounds as though you're as busy as ever--even more so with the packing added. I like your block and thought-Meandering. Hope it does well in the competition.
That is a lovely block Moira. The FPP technique is a great design element for perfect points here. Good luck in the voting.
5 years? Ha!
