Sorry I am so short of time lately. Been in a rush to get the house sorted for photo shoot which has just been completed, so now I can hopefully get back to a little bit of stitching.
This is how far I have got with my silk ribbon embroidery on the cq block.
Beads, charms and lacy 'things' to add to it now.

Boy, I sure love your color choices, and the neutral background just lets them sing. Love that blue especially.
Thanks everyone. The colours I used are probably not what you would see in real life, but I want to stick to a particular colour scheme for this block. It's my trial block on Kathy Shaw's class, so these seams are all Kathy's seams.
