Moira - School has started back up and I'm running late today as a result.....
I will get my act together and get next weeks post written on time! But in the meantime, here are pics of my finished challenge wallhanging and a much better picture of the quilt I made for my nephew and his new bride.
Congratulations on completing two very excellent projects Moira. Great job on the stitched verse that replaced the written one, and I love those frayed edges.
The wedding quilt is gorgeous! I like your challenge wallhanging, too. The quilted water and sky add a lot of texture--makes it seem as though the water is moving and there are clouds blowing across the sky.

The wedding quilt turned out so pretty! Nice job Moira!
Both of them are just gorgeous. I know the wedding quilt will be a family treasure.
Oh, Moira, that's the first time I've seen the challenge quilt turned the right way and it makes SO much more sense now! LOL Beautiful stitching.

Beautiful quilting on your wall hanging, and your wedding quilt is one to be proud of. Congratulations on finishing your projects.
Thanks everyone!
Suztats - the illusion of moving water and wind blowing is exactly what I wanted to happen. I'm so glad that my vision can be seen in it.
Susan - I figured it would make more sense when right side up. =)
I love the wedding quilt, such a special gift. The wallhanging is amazing!
