Starting to think about a large CQ . . . .
Either turn this pile into a machine stitched CQ

Either turn this pile into a machine stitched CQ
OR, start the handwork on this huge CQ . . . .

I'm in the mood for "my colors". I think the reason some of my UFOs (which I have been diligently finishing) are not appealing to me is because of the color(s).

Sometimes it's time for a color change along with the change of seasons. Looks like your choices depend on if you want to sit in front of a machine or sit on the porch and embroider. Or you could do both.
This is the time of year I seem to like some handwork. Seeing this blue CQ in full view again is inspiring me to start the handwork.
Whichever you choose, it looks like you'll be having fun and creating something very pretty! Enjoy.
Oh, the handwork one definitely. That beautiful cq deserves your attention. I hope its 'hugeness' wont act as a deterent to you starting on it.
Both look like beautiful projects. Love all the antique lines.
I hope not. I may have to take an attitude that it will take me a long time to finish it. There may not be much real handwork because most of the seams are covered with trims.
I have more than I will ever need so I am trying to think of some projects.
I guess if you use the antique linens, it will be as big as the other one. Either one looks like a good project.
I am drooling over those laces.........perhaps you'll work on both....the handwork on sunny porch-sitting days, and the machine stitching on rainy ones..........They both are enticing.
