I don't know where this week went - well, I do, but it did it so fast! I did not one single stitch of any kind in anything that could be called embroidery or crazy quilting this week. I did finish these for Debra, though:
I also showed my top-secret project on Tuesday in the For the Boys hop. This is the first time I've machine quilted since I gave up my longarm in 2005. The walking foot makes a huge difference!
Other than that, I've done a lot of pressing, organizing and some cutting, too. Just not a lot to show anyone yet! And no stitching.

I certainly don't call that "no stitching"! Happy to be getting the baby quilts. It's been fun to see the variety of approaches with the printed panels. 6 were delivered Friday to veterans' families with newborn babies. Thank you!
Sounds like you worked on the important stuff. Amazing how the weeks fly by at this time of year, isn't it?
Adorable baby quilts. I think the organizing and the pressing are often my favorite parts of the process.
Fabulous bear quilts, and the half-square-triangles making the Ohio Star (as I know it) is a great way to feature the printed panels.
Love your trees design too. Is that a table runner?
Yippee, those bear panel quilts are now at my house! They are super! Will be perfect for some male babies! Thanks Susan!
Love those bear quilts! Reminds me of this past summer and the bears Jewel had. A baby bear and a mommy bear, plus a poppa bear.......what fun she had!
I really like the colours and fabric in your top secret project.
Might not have been embroidery but still a job well done! I like those trees a lot!
I uploaded the wrong picture for the second one. That's my artistic version of the first one! I'll fix that in a few minutes. They were fun to do!
It is. For one of my sons for Christmas. I have another one to make, and it has to be different. =)
I also enjoy the process, but it takes a lot of time. =)
The last few years, they fly at any time of year!
Thank you for all your comments. I'm glad you liked what I did. I really enjoyed all three of these - and I did fix the picture now. The first one has two border pieces that came in a box of fabrics from someone else entirely! They had fall bears on them. =)
