This week's quilt top is the Bricks quilt. It's a very versatile layout with many interpretations. I am working with a controlled color scheme and fabrics. This one is about a double size.
I'm on a piecing frenzy so when that calms down, I'll do the machine quilting.

I really like the colour scheme you've chosen Debra. This'll be fab!
Hmmm! A great stash-buster. I really like this colour scheme Debra. The pink/reds really pop.
A nice summertime patriotic flair without being overdone. Just in time for Memorial Day!
This top has been on my To Do List for a few years. And then, it went together in less than a week! Funny how that happens.
Thanks. It also feels a little southwestern to me too.
The idea was to have specific accent blocks. It's a fun approach.
Thanks Suz! Thinking of straight line quilting.
And look at all the fabric you used! This is a pretty quilt top; I love the way the red pops.
"And look at all the fabric you used!"----if only that were true! Plenty more where this came from. . .
Must be the plaids, it would appeal to both men and women I think.
Of all the stacks of quilts I have made, this is one that Wes voluntarily made a point of telling me he liked. I thought that was interesting.
