Deborah: UFO Progress

Block  Three finished. Well - except for the centers of the flowers. I haven't decided what to do there - not excited about appliqueing tiny circles. The photo makes the colors more intense than they actually are. They are not nearly that orangey.

Next block:

I like this one. The piece de resistance!

It's beautiful! How about a button for the flower centers?

Or you could use fancy buttons, or lace around a button or bead. I love the colours. The next block is gorgeous!

I vote for button too.

I was thinking of a cluster of French knots or one of the embroidery stitches I learned last year during TAST.

Is the heart your next one? I thought of buttons, too, or how about some SRE in there?

Yep. The heart is the last one.

That would be great too, love french knots.

Lovely work! I agree with the vote for button centers. It will add to the folksy feel of the design.

I'm looking forward to seeing your ruched flowers when you do the heart block. I love ruched anything, lol.
