Yes Suz I made it years ago with my Singer XL 1000, as I mention to Susan I've been working on organizing my sewing room...Hence.... embroidery piece. I bought these siggies years ago when I first started CQ'ing. Decided to leave this one full size (think I'll like it better) the tannish/gold with pattern was sent to me by a friend. purple & light green was in a bag of CQ fabric I bought.
Love the silkie, AND your bow. It's wonderful to come across old bits and pieces. Often I don't even remember where they came from, but sometimes I do.

Very nice! I like it a lot, and it will be fun to see how you embellish it.
Pretty colors- I love the lady in the center block.
The colours look soft and nicely muted. The fabric piece to the left of the lady is interesting. Did you make the bow in the lower right? It's pretty.
A lovely lady with the parasol. The purple silk (or satin) 'lifts' the whole piece. 'm looking forward to seeing what goes there.
