Love, love, LUV, the whole block Deborah. Gorgeous dimensional (zig-zag rouched, I think?) flowers. And you have the most darling heart at the top. I can never get that top inwards pointy bit of hearts neat enough for my liking, but yours looks as good as perfect. I am definitely impressed with this, and your enjoyment and liking for applique shines throughout this block.
Thanks, Cy; yes those flowers are ruched as you described. They add lovely texture, and they are in a number of blocks in this book. I think the batik fabric is really beautiful used that way.

This is wonderful! Love the design and the fabrics you used.

Thanks! Trying to make these blend in with the four I completed, oh, *several* years ago. ;-)
IF I'm going to do that Baltimore album, I'd better get started. :-)
I'm plotting to stitch one by machine.
Beautiful! I love the floral batik you used on the ruched flowers!
Beautiful! You are really good at applique. I think you'll be happy that you went this direction.
