Not much to see as I am just still quilting. Slow going again due to the sore elbow, kind of like tennis elbow but I don't play tennis.
Years back I added a scrap fabric edge as the original binding was in shreds. It made it a nice thickness at the time. However, since I am going to be folding over the backing to make a new binding should I take off the scrap binding so it doesn't get too thick and stiff?

Yes.
Progress is progress. Keep on quilting!
Sorry to read about the tennis elbow-I've had that and it isn't any fun! Those few minutes add up, though. :-)

Slow is definitely me lately. LOL
Is that a yes to take off the binding?
Yes, take it off.
I fully understand this week was not my best week either.
I agree with Debra take the scrap backing off.
I'd take it off, too. Anyway to double that back-binding piece?
I vote with the others. :>) You wouldn't be happy with an extra thick edge.....
