This weeks TAST stitch was certainly a challenge, I had to get pretty creative to use it with my chosen historical event of Orson Welles' broadcast of War of the Worlds on October 30, 1938.
The CBNP stitches form the ends of the laser rays coming from the alien ship.
I did use a bit of prismacolor again to give the ship some definition. 2 strands of cotton floss were used except for the picots which were 6 strands.

Wow, you also did a lot of those picots! And they sure look better with six strands of floss. I heard part of that broadcast on NPR while driving somewhere; no wonder folks got scared! Great stitching!
You certainly did get creative - wow. Great picots, your's look just like Sharon's instructions while mine are pointed and twisted.
I thought yours looked really good and mine looked lumpy. LOL
Another good block, Angela! Discovering the prisma color idea has been a great boon for your stitching.
Nice picots Angela!
Can you imagine the panic back then! Nice stitching and very creative use of the stitch Angela.
And a wonderful application of the stitch it is! What a great thing to commemorate in your pieces.
You sure have some diverse topics in your journal Angela, lol.
Great use of the stitch. Thank goodness for prismacolour pens.
