Angela~ Italian Border Stitch

This week's embroidery journal page is not finished yet but I will show photos of the completed page next week.
A good start.  I used prisma colors to fill in Walt's name.  Backstitch for the lettering, stem stitch to outline the name.  Mickey's head is this week's Italian Border Stitch.
Where the curves come together I had to fill in the outline with a couple extra french knots to make it not have a gaping space.
Catch you up in a week!

IBS is going to work so well for Mickey's head and ears and am looking forward to seeing your finished journal page. I don't know whether it's been mentioned already, but may I ask please the size of your pages?

Fun! I had to fill in the gaps also. Your prisma pens work great!

Beautifully done! This is a great outline stitch for that block. I look forward to seeing all of it together. Thanks for the blue inspiration!

I hope I can gat his week's and next week's done on time. I've ended up with a sty on one of my eyelids and it is very hard to focus. No sewing for the last 2 days. But visiting with parents and friends comes first anyway.

Thanks for that, they look quite small from the photographs, but I think we were all surprised with the size of Connie's "tree" pages. You certainly have a lot of stitching to tackle each week as well as investigating your subject matter.
