This was a fun stitch! Because this SBS block has no flowers and no real spot to add any, I used the Cast On Stitch to embellish the neckline of Sue's dress. It seemed to work OK. Sure am glad I don't have to knit with a milliner's needle though!
Looks like you got a flat spread with lots of cast ons?? I did about 10 & the last stitch was very close to the first foundation stitch. Yours reminds me of a picot in crochet. Nice idea to do that.
You really had me laughing with the idea of knitting with milliner's needles! yah, cast-on stitch-- I get it. :) What a clever way to make the stitch work when you don't have the floral motifs available!

Yes, I did it like the video with a larger stitch than Sharon uses, more like the bullion stitch. I was trying for a scalloped effect.....

I didn't know Sue is a swinger! The cast-on stitch looks good on the neckline! Good idea.
Actually, it's her sister, Sinbonnet Sue, who is the swinger!

A very creative use of the stitch Judy. Sometimes I get as nice surprise with just how 'inventive' this group has to be to reach our goal, lol.
