Friday night found me stitching my Cast On Stitch which went splendidly! It's a simple little stitch after all. Thankfully, since I waited until the final hour!
This month's block is blue green with white and black.
No, they are all cottons. It was nothing like what I had remembered! I did a cast on rose the first time I went through TAST and I remember it was a bit harder; but, now that I am experienced . . . Ha!
Loving the lime green on the turquoise and am amazed how you've found time to "cast on" when you've been creating your Cancer Society Raffle Quilt. Just for the record, I've not even picked up my needle yet!
Woohoo, my favourite colours, I'm really going to enjoy this block I think. I tried the cast-on stitch for the first time this week, and I'm smitten with it. Definitely one for the 'go-to' list.

Nice! These fabrics look heavier? Great colors! I liked this stitch, too; knitting with embroidery thread......

These are so cute, and make a nice, light seam treatment with a nice hit of texture!
I didn't stretch past my comfort zone but some weeks are just like that! I could easily see this worked again; now that I remember it.
Yours look much nicer than mine. =) Love the green and white contrast.
I'm thinking of staying in the green monochromatic scheme this month with the Bl&Wh accents.
It's fun trying something different each month.

You have the Olympics!
Cool stitching, reminds me of coral branches for some reason...or at least some type of sea plant.
I just love cast-on stitch. It looks so beautiful and textural!
Sometimes simplicity is just the right touch. :)
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Just did the same line of stitching on another CQ project. This is getting to be a habit!!

Agree!
Very pretty work. This is the mental image I get when I think of the cast-on stitch.
