No doubt Carol is basquing in Sharon's favour! (well there hasn't really been anything to pun about lately....heheheh ...) Welcome back Debra. Hope you had a good time.
I did Basque stitch on my April cq block. Can I cheat and re-post that photo and pretend I've just done it, haha. Great to see you home again Debra. Hope your time away was all you hoped it would be.
Does this stitch have another name? I can't find it in any of my books. I just found a fun link if you have a few minutes and aren't busy stitching or cleaning: http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=77&Lang=en It's a color test. Have fun
I have Judith Baker Montano's book "Embroidery and Crazy Quilt Stitch Tool" and the Basque stitch listed there is totally different from the ones shown in the links above. So, my basque stitches are looking a whole lot different! I just recorded the stitch, and used my book for reference......didn't check the links until today....too late! oh, well....don't tell me Judith was wrong!

Chosen just for Carol, I am sure! Looks like a fun stitch!
There you go then, it must be because I've just purchased Module 7 Worksheets. Ladies, just let me have your preferences.
Welcome home and thank goodness you're back its been too quiet.

Ha ha - nice one
Oh dear! What a start to the week, Suz!
Tee Hee! Are you really back, Debra? I thought you were off stitching somewhere on a porch in Montana?
Oooh! I just got module 7 too! :)
I'm back--may take a day or two to adjust to sleeping in my own bed. First thing in the AM, grocery shopping.

Sure, especially since you have spring cleaning happening! I let you slide this once. *wink*

There are 3 links in the post; surely, those are helpful enough.

More likely there are multiple stitches being called "Basque"!
