Sorry to be late again, ladies.
Here is my Palestrina stitch:
I'm seeing baskets everywhere on this block. I'm not sure the outcome is exactly what I envisioned. This is taken with my phone, again, because I haven't taken the camera to be fixed yet.
I'm still working on the June block. I've had a hard time finding decent photos.

Deborah, that is the most beautiful basket I've seen for a long time. What a great use of the Palestrina stitch. And I love the French knots & beaded middle.
The handle of the basket is great too.
I never thought about the palestrina stitch for a basket, but it works beautifully on your basket...very sweet!
Really clever to use the already stitched flowers as the contents of your basket! Very pretty basket.
I like this! Neat idea creating a basket, and I love the colours you've used!
The palestrina is perfect for creating the basket! And that French knot/beaded band is beautiful! Very nice!
Ditto on what everyone else has said, it is beautiful!
Beautiful basket and I adore the French Knot/beaded band. Lovely delicate colours
Thank you all so much. I was a little unsure about the flowers I added after I had done them but I think they work. Thanks again for all your kind comments.
There's something very traditional about the look of the basket, and at the same time, something very artsy-modern! Intriguing combination!
This basket could also be an easter egg! heh. ..or maybe I'm not quite awake yet. The Palestrina stitch worked very well. I also like the textural French Knots and beads section.
Very pretty basket. The shiny thread is a nice touch.
