Haven't tried it, but it looks like a great stitch for future projects.
Looks like a no brainer to me-bet Cy is disappointed.
I'm going to have to step up the pace and dig into my Stitch Stash to get June's block done.
I did the cable chain as one variation when we did the chain stitch. I'm ahead! (well, I'll probably do some more.....maybe....heheheh.....)
Haha!! actually I quite like this stitch, so I'm not disappointed at all. I don't think I've used it lately though so it will be a refresher week for me.
Yes, I'm with you on having to step up the pace on my June block too. So I'm pleased we have a "no brainer" to help fill it up this week.
Whoooops!!! Forget I said this is a 'no brainer'. I've just had to rip two rows of it from my cq block.
That'll teach me to be flippant about a stitch.
Oh no, Cy, and I haven't even started my cable chain!
I messed up when I did my first few stitches but left it as a reminder to take my time and follow the rules. Otherwise I'm enjoying this stitch.
This is so not very encouraging. Can't delay any longer, lunch then get to it.
If our 2 Star Students are messing up, what hope is there for the rest of us? I must get to it too-Saturday is just around the corner.
Sometimes mess-ups lead to new discoveries.
Yes, the invention of Post-It notes happened because the scientist couldn't get the glue to stick permanently. So, you never know!
