I've been playing around with V's!
an abstract flower
an interesting 'window'
large and small v's
small v's facing each other
light blue small v's back to back with larger darker blue v's
just V fun
looks like a good way to make a trellis or an argyle pattern
all together
yellow v's on green feather stitch, rather wild and organic
purple V's in running stitch and wrapped with variegated green thread
purple v's in running stitch and turquoise V's inside the purple
turquoise v's with green buttonhole stitch, purple french knot v's
Now, back to the needle!
Thanks for looking.
Hugs from Suz

Wow, you really DID explore the V-stitch! The third picture down gives me an idea I'll try if I don't forget. Sigh.
Lovely V's Susan. So many samples, I expect we'll still be seeing more though. This is certainly a great exploration in stitching. I can see quite a few of yours that would make wonderful cq seam treatments.
Well done & thank you for sharing your work.
Running stitch V's with wrapping are very effective and lend themselves to further embellishment. Trellis/Argyle also works well and "V fun" could be a useful motif. Great samples and really like seeing them together in your hoop.
Suz, you did a phenomenal (phenominal? I could look it up but I'm already late for work.) exploration of the "V". These are fantastic and very creative!
Great explorations! You are rocking this idea! Your last one looks like a caterpillar crawling through the garden.
Thanks everyone for your wonderful support and comments!
Those are great samples.
Great stitch explorations, you got some great variations.
