I didn't get to post my stitch exploration adventure last week, so you get two weeks worth here today.
Row 1 - A large V and a small V flipped and overlapping
Row 2 - Regular and inverted V's
Row 1 - Zig-zag chain stitch in orange, with shallow V's in purple
Row 2 - Satin stitched V's making use of the negative space zig-zag
Row 3 - Random Fly stitch going back and forth horizontally

Most excellent! These are the kinds of bands I really like.
Even your explorations are gorgeous. I especially like the yellow and purple and the purple and turquoise and the satin stitch and the random fly and your V's are just too perfect. Think that about covers it, will go and rip out my stitches now!

I think negative spaces are very under-used in this modern society. I'm always looking for the negative space at the bottom of my wine glass ;)

Great stitches. I love that scattered fly stitch for filler, it's so unexpected wonderful.
Both sets of stitches look great. I often wish it were as easy to get that balanced stitching on fabric as it is on aida!
I love the way you explored the same stitch pattern with the lavender and blue in reversed orientation. I find it fascinating how the long lavender lines with smaller blue lines has totally different impact than the long blue with smaller lavender. (picture 1, row 1)
I am also particularly fond of the negative Vs between satin stitching in picture 2. Great stitch explorations and very inspiring! Thank you for sharing!
