I have found Knotted Cretan my most difficult stitch to master thus far. You will notice my fabric looks like a pincushion with all the "reverse" sewing, also its displayed portrait instead of landscape - not my finest hour!
This does not bode well for Sarah's June travels. Understand she's feeling a little jaded with all her travelling and is hoping to have a lazy Mediterranean break.

Love the fuschia and green together. I like the ridges it produced, Mediterranean hills? Roll with it!
With all of us in the Med together it wouldn't be peaceful or relaxing. However, it might be exciting, stimulating and such great fun.

I'm looking forward to the trip to the Med. this month. I could do with a warm-up as there is a cold blast coming here from the South Pole at the moment.
The Mediterranean is sunny, right? We could sure use some warmth here. The nasturtiums I planted a couple whiles ago haven't even sprouted! Love the block already!

I tried stitching vertically, horizontally every which way. In the end I did a row of basic Cretan and then began (just a little) to understand. Who wants her work to have knots in it anyway?
