Deborah: Catching up: Week 21 - Butterfly Chain Stitch

Finally I have something to show.

The straight stitches look much redder than they actually are - they are actually more of a coral and the green thread is variegated.
This line of stitching did not turn out as planned so I"ll probably pull it out but I kept going because it took me so long to get anything done the past week.

As for the bullion knot, I'm still working on that one. I have to admit it's got me a bit flummoxed.

I've got updates on the CQJP at my blog.

The color does look red rather than coral, but I like that you used the combination of colors. I also like the way your line moves and creates motion.

Don't pull it out; it looks great!

Good butterfly chains Deborah. The colours go nicely with the row of chevron & herringbone under it.

Nicely stitched! Very fluid.

I was thinking "vines". Sometimes the thought is easier than the execution.

Personally, I wouldn't pull it out. Without the blue lines there, it looks perfectly wonderful.
