Looks Great!!
And a very nice looking table at that!
A glass at the side, perhaps! Quite liked the earlier effect, but have to admit this is so much better and captures the Coca Cola image beautifully.
You've added a lot of time Angela. It looks very nice.
I ran across this for removing excess dye when dyeing fabrics. I haven't had a chance to read it, but here it is, relevant or not...
Sorry, tried the computer language thing but it didn't show up so for lack of time I'm using the old-fashioned way:http://vickiwelsh.typepad.com/field_trips_in_fiber/2011/08/color-fastness-of-hand-dyed-fabrics.html
It's worked beautifully! Nicely done.
I know Vicki! She's a bud of mine.
Works well. When bottles looked like that, red counters in soda fountains and white tables with red edges in kitchens were all the thing. ~Susan
Thank you, Connie, for the color-fastness link! Love it. Very useful.
Angela, you are so clever! Do you have a notebook filled with history ideas for these embroideries of yours?
I just look up the date in wikipedia every week and see what's there and choose something I can relate to.
