Yes, it's the final, final, all beaded answer to block number one in the CQJP2012. Pictures taken in the sunshine! At first, I was afraid the dark beads on either side are too much, but now that I look at the picture, I think it's okay. The beads across the top of the fairy are round frosted olive green alternated with gold twisted bugles. It came to me in a dream. =) I think you can click to enlarge. I used a lot of the TAST stitching for the month, but added in other things that are favorites of mine. So some seams were learning projects and some were comfort zones.

Delicate, pretty, and harmonious.
I love when ideas come in dreams, especially when they are that nice! The block is gorgeous and I love your stitched details. Are you sticking with the pinks, greens and amber/tan/gold on your other blocks also?
Bravo! I love it!
Each block is pastels, but the colors are taken from the colors in the flower fairy silkie. So next month is lavenders and yellows, I think, and one month is mostly greens. I don't remember the others atm.
Lavender is my favorite color, so if what you have done this month is any indication I'm sure I will love Februarys too. It is hard to believe you haven't done a lot with pastels. You have certainly mastered it.
So pretty...
Love the buttonhole flowers! Beautiful work!
Very eye-catching with all that beautiful bead work, and what a lovely lot of different stitches.
This block turned out beautifully. I really loved looking at your stitches and how you put them together... great effect and the colors balnced out nicely. Onwards to February!
Breathtaking! So much to look at! I love the little "pine branches" on the tan silk ground: subtle and lovely! Also the pink pinwheel flowers on white ground. The dark seed beads work for me-- they're nicely balanced to either side of your primary focal point.
Thanks for that comment. That (the dark beads) was the one thing I debated for a while, so I'm glad to hear your thoughts on it.
