Yah, some things are definitely easier on evenweave, and some things are definitely more difficult. I love the embellishment you did on the printed fabric!
Nice stitching for the week's challenge. The way you added a second color and stitch to the Cretan is very nice. I really like your flower and leaves you added to your block. Very pretty.
Nice work on the cretan stitch. I found out that it is definitely not the easiest of stitches to create, but yours look neat and you got a good variety there.
I have problems knowing what to do on print fabric, so I appreciate the great example you made. The leaves are really good and even. I enlarged your stitch sampler to look at the way you did the variations and it gave me something to think about for a future block. Thanks for some cretan inspiration - need all I can get with that stitch!
I really liked this stitch. Thanks for all the comments. I'm trying to make things larger, I'm tending to make very small stitches. Your feedback is very encouraging!
It seems to me that Aida cloth and anything curvy, don't go together well? I love the way you did the leaves on your CQ block and also the way you used two colors with your cretan stitch. Your stitching is so even!

Your cretan stitch looks so very nice, you make it look so easy. Love the cq, it gets better every week.
Yes, your stitches look so smooth! I like the little flower, too, and the little flower beads.
I love the flower and leaves you stitched on the fabric and the way you used flowers to tack down the lace. Very pretty!
I love your embroidery over the printed fabric. It adds so much texture. Your leaves are great.
