Judy is Ready~~~I hope!

Finally things have settled down a bit here long enough for me to actually write down what's been running through my head lately about TAST. (The grandkids went home yesterday after a wild and crazy week, and luckily I have just a few operating brain cells left. LOL~ GK Baby has not arrived though, so things may get crazy again real soon.)
Found a cute notebook, downloaded Debra's cool list of 12 basic stitches, dug through my library and unearthed a couple of books, went stash diving and found some evenweave fabric for a band sampler.....AND found several packages of all ready-to-be-embroidered stamped quilt squares. Since each package has 12 squares, I thought each square would be a perfect place to try to incorporate one month's worth of stitches and chose the Sunbonnet Sue designs. If I'm successful, I will end up with enough squares to make a small quilt. I also found a cute saying for my band sampler which I'll share soon... (So much for my UFO plan, but truly I am going to work on them also.) Hope this passes muster! Till Tuesday, then.....Happy New Year!

Ha! You know me too well, Debra. I also got yarn for a sweater (for me!) and it even has some embroidery on the pattern!!! (Gotta get after those many socks that are missing a mate though....)

It is just so kewl that we are in this project together! We're doing such different things, but I truly love Sunbonnet Sue blocks, so I'm going to love seeing what you do and how you incorporate the stitches on these.
